Welcome to abtmtr.link!

abtmtr.link is a suite of internet-based services meant to improve the wellbeing of those who use it.

At the current moment, abtmtr.link hosts a few neat services, like a mail server that, despite being hosted on HelioHost, surprisingly isn't on any blocklists, a privacy-focused search engine instance, and a private cloud where users can host files.

abtmtr.link is hosted and "maintained" by MeowcaTheoRange (they/it) - their infrastructure is what powers the servers!

ARE YOU A FEDERAL AGENT?

abtmtr.link stands with its bretheren in the United States, legal citizens or not. No matter what, people shouldn't be forcibly removed from their families and children shouldn't have to watch their own mother die on the news.

We stand fighting against the tide of the Trump regime's tyrannical release of American Gestapo (ICE) agents upon the people of our nation.

If you associate with ICE, you are not welcome here, you were not ever welcome here, and you never will be welcome here. We hope under the fullest extent of liability that you are unmasked, named, and shamed for all Americans to identify. What they do with this information is at their will. If we must live in fear, let us show them what fear is instead.

Remove your masks, put away your guns, get the fuck out of your "tactical" gear, get the fuck out of our cities, and get the fuck off of abtmtr.link. There is nothing for you here.

Keep Android Open

Android is an impressive operating system, being greatly secure, reliable, and redundant, while still having a rich and open ecosystem with insane amounts of user freedom, especially for an operating system developed primarily by one of the largest surveillance corporations in the world.

That surveillance corporation is Google, and soon they will broaden their chokehold on Android's open ecosystem. Starting September 2026 through 2027 and onward, Google is planning to have Android app developers verify with them before their software is allowed to be installed on Play Protect-certified Android devices.

This primarily means stock Android devices - those with Google Play installed, with their bootloader clean and locked - will not be allowed to install Android apps found outside of the Google Play Store.
With vendors like Verizon already disallowing the installation of custom ROMs on their devices, this action will create a big, fat wall in front of the flourishing free and open-source app ecosystems that can be found on alternative app stores like F-Droid.

This is not a decision made for "safety". Installing Android apps from outside the Google Play Store is already difficult enough for the average layperson, and this will only make it near impossible to do so for that demographic.
Instead, this is a greedy, monopolistic decision made to squeeze more data out of the thousands of app developers already on the Play Store, and to tighten the grip on the Android ecosystem that Google has already had enough of.

Time is marching as we speak. Help us keep Android open.
In 165 days, the requirement will become effective in Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand.
Then, in 287 days, the requirement will start becoming effective globally.

Help by spreading the word, installing F-Droid on all of your Android devices, or by visiting Keep Android Open.

Thank you for your time.

Resources

Not shoving things down people's throats keeps us up at night. Seriously though, we live in a fucked up world, and even though labels tend to be ineffective, this world uses them a lot.

abtmtr.link believes that trans rights are human rights, no human is illegal, that the law can go fuck itself, and that as long as you aren't hurting others, you belong.

Use these resources to lessen the pain the world wants to inflict on us. Even better, support or share them to spread the love!
